The Balogun Egbe Obaneye Obinrin Akile Ijebu, Chief (Mrs) Ayoola Fehintola Brat has described the emergence of Dr Sonny Kuku as the Ogbeni Oja of Ijebuland as successful iconic move which will in no distance time affect positively the development of the ancient city of Ijebu-Ode.
Chief Fehintola-Brat made this known on Saturday morning as the new leader of commerce and industry in Ijebuland, Olorogun Dr Sonny Kuku is expected to be officially installed by the Paramount ruler and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Dr Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
Dr Sonny Kuku will be the third one of the most influential Ijebu men in history to hold the most prestigious and non-hereditary title.
The elegant woman of style described the new Ogbeni Oja as a colossus in size and achievement, whose tenure she prayed will benefit all sons and daughters of Ijebuland.
Dr Sonny Kuku who Co-founded the prestigious Eko Hospital is an alumnus of very esteemed institutions including Kings College Lagos, University of Lagos and University of London.
