A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Omooba Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola, has charged members of the party to rededicate themselves to ensuring victory for all candidates of the party as campaigns for the 2023 general elections kick off.
Ayoola, who is the founder of Omooba Obaruwa Foundation, made the call on Monday during a meeting in Odogbolu local government area of the state organized to celebrate the 62nd Independence anniversary of Nigeria.
Omooba Ayoola, who used the opportunity of the meeting to share bags of rice to party’s loyalists, noted that, despite the challenges facing the country, Nigerians still have cause to celebrate in their little ways, stressing that the challenges at hand are still surmountable.
The grassroots politician added that he will continue to assist in reducing the plight of the masses within the area through selfless and humanitarian services.
The food items are distributed across the wards in the council area.
