2023: Abudu-Balogun Extends Consultation On Reps Ambition To Ijebu North, Meets Orimolusi, APC Stakeholders

Frontline House of Representatives aspirant, Hon Abiodun Abudu-Balogun has extended his ongoing grassroots consultation to Ijebu North local government area ahead of the party primary slated for May 2023.

The former member of the green chamber who was accompanied on the visit by his key supporters and other party Chieftains in the area also paid homage to the new Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo as well the Chairman of Ijebu North local government, Hon Bolaji Odusanya.

Meanwhile, speaking at the event, Hon Abiodun Abudu-Balogun said he was in the area to officially intimate the party stakeholders about his ambition.

The APC Chieftain added that as an experienced lawmaker and a grassroots politician per excellence who is vast in legislative matters, he stands tall among the aspirants jostling for the exalted seat.

Abudu-Balogun pointed out that the people of the constituency; Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside LGs will aknowledge the fact that he seized the oppotunty of his first time at the green chamber to influence several employment oppotunities for the younger generation among other remarkable achievent, promising that he wont disappoint his constituents if given the mantle of leadership again.

Action, as Hon Abudu-Balogun is widely known in the political circle also facilitated several constituency projects, initiated grants for market men and women and as well established educational scholarships to indigent students for his constituents during his period at the national assembly.

He however appealed to party leaders to take into consideration the interest of the party in electing credible candidates that could withstand the challenges and antics of the opposition in the general election.

Highlight of the visit include a meeting with the legislative council of Ijebu North local government and APC stakeholders in the area.
