The Mobolaji Positive Impact Foundation has conducted a free medical outreach to residents of Idode/Imomo communities, in Ijebu North East local government area of Ogun state.
The event provided free medical treatments and tests to over 200 residents in the area.
The outreach, according to information featured a range of services, including checkups, treatments for malaria, hypertension, and diabetes, as well as free eye tests. Participants also received free medications.
Mogaji Ibrahim Fatai, the Convener of the foundation, emphasised that the outreach was borne out of the need to bridge the gap between the community and the government, especially in light of high inflation rates that make healthcare difficult for many.
The construction expert added that said that the foundation had been operating for some years with a focus on improving healthcare in communities and educational institutions.
According to him, the foundation was also birthed to give back to the elderly and the needy in the society. ‘I can tell you for free that the foundation has no political coulouration as beneficiaries were drawn from all strata of the society’, Mogaji Ibrahim added.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Alhaja Ayinke Olanrewaju, expressed satisfaction with the outreach, commending the efforts of the organiser and the impact of the programme on the community.
