ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE – In a powerful demonstration of loyalty and grassroots mobilization, the leading progressive voice of Sagamu Constituency 1, Hon. Solomon Oyekan, yesterday stormed the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta for the official inauguration of the Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council.

Demonstrating his unmatched capability to mobilize the next generation, Hon. Oyekan led a massive, high-energy delegation of youths from his constituency to the venue. The vibrant crowd injected immense enthusiasm into the historic event, signaling Sagamu’s total commitment to a resounding APC victory in the 2027 general elections.
The high-octane event was presided over by the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who serves as the Chairman of the Campaign Council.

It also featured the APC’s 2027 gubernatorial candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), alongside top party leaders, stakeholders, and thousands of enthusiastic party faithful from across the state’s three senatorial districts.

Speaking through the Somo Media Team after the inauguration, Hon. Solomon Oyekan reaffirmed his unwavering allegiance to the progressive ideals of the APC.

He noted that the huge turnout of youths from Sagamu Constituency 1 is a testament to their belief in the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun and the visionary mandate of Senator Yayi.
“Our youths are not just the future; they are the active drivers of the progressive agenda we see today in Ogun State,” Hon. Oyekan stated. “By coming out in our numbers to support Governor Abiodun, our incoming Governor Senator Yayi, and the newly inaugurated Campaign Council, we are sending a clear message:

Sagamu Constituency 1 is fully locked in for an absolute APC victory come 2027.”
Governor Abiodun had during the inauguration charged the newly formed council to immediately launch aggressive, scientific grassroots consultations and sustained voter engagement across all 20 local governments, 236 wards, and polling units in the state.
With Hon. Solomon Oyekan actively leading the charge and galvanizing youth structures from the forefront, the APC in Sagamu and the wider Remo zone stands firmly positioned to deliver a landslide victory, ensuring continuity, stability, and accelerated development for the good people of Ogun State.
