A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State and long time political ally of former Ogun Assembly Speaker, Dr Kenny Bello has extended birthday greetings to the former Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly (OGHA) in the sixth republic, Rt Hon Tunji Egbetokun.
Bello, in a statement issued by his Media Office on Sunday and made available to journalists, described Egbetokun as an epitome of brilliance, a goal-getter endowed with political sagacity and consummate politician of high repute.
The statement partly reads:
“Birthday comes only but once in a year, and it is always a big privilege to count another year of God’s unwavering kindness in one’s life. Our prayer for you this day is more 365’s wrapped with plethora of God’s blessings and may God Almighty grant all your heart desires”.
Rt Hon Tunji Egbetokun who served as Speaker of Ogun Assembly between 2008 to 2011, has also served as Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Political Matters to former Ogun State governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun (FCA) during his 8years uninterrupted tenure. He also served in the same capacity as SSA on Political Matters in the Governor Dapo Abiodun’s first term in office.
Egbetokun, a prominent political figure from Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State has always remained a factor to reckon with in Ogun politics as regards among the brains behind building the socio-economic fortune of Gateway State.
Kehinde Ayodeji Bello (KAB) as fondly called in political circle, while congratulating the former Speaker also prayed for God to grant him more wisdom, good health and wealth to contribute more to Ogun State and Nigeria by extension.
