The Vice Chairman of Ijebu Ode local government, Hon Dare Alebiosu on Saturday begins the final lapse of his door to door campaign for the re-election bid of the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Alebiosu prominently known in the Ogun political circle as Dre, while addressing some residents of the ancient town described the incumbent Governor as the best among other contenders jostling for the governorship position.
In his own words, “while I thank the good people of the state, especially our people from Ijebuland for voting massively for all our candidates in the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections, I want to passionately appeal that March 11 governorship and state Assembly elections should also follow the trend of our electoral victory”
It is by entrusting our votes to the hand of Governor Dapo Abiodun and our Assembly candidates across the local government area of the state on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), that the wind of dramatic change being witnessed in the state could continue unabated,” Alebiosu added.
The youthful politician appealed to all sons and daughters, as well as residents of Ijebuland to go out on the election day with their PVCs and vote for candidates of APC extraction, promising that the Governor will make good his promises in touching positively the 234 wards in the state.
