Female Age-Group (83,84,85) To Hold Conferment Ceremony On May 8
Emerging female age-group of 1983-1985 extraction, otherwise known as Regberegbe in Ijebuland will on Saturday, May 8, 2023 roll out drums in honour of the official conferment ceremony of Iyalode, Otun Iyalode and Eta Iyalode on some prestigious members of the group.
Ijebu News Xtra magazine reliably gathered that members of the group awaiting official confirmation include Mrs Oyindamola Okebunmi, Iyalode, Mrs Ayomikun Bamiro, the Otun Iyalode and Mrs Sekinat Obabi, the Eta Iyalode respectively.
Further information has it that former House of Representatives member, Hon Wale Ogunbanjo is the Father of the Day, while Chief Mrs Faderera Alli, the Balogun Egbe Arobayo Obinrin, who equally doubles as the Adviser, Regbergbe Obinrin Akile Ijebu (1983, 84 and 85) is the Mother of The Day.
Alhaji Kamorudeen Alaga, the Secretary, Regbregbe In Council will deliver a keynote address, as the Guest Speaker of the event.
The ceremony, it was further gathered will hold at the upscale Rolak Hotel, Imowo Ijebu Ode.
Happening Fuji Musician, YAB 1 Ayinde will be on bandstand.
The magazine also scooped that the movers and shakers of the Ijebu society circle are planning big for the event.
