Hon. Adekunle Abdulateef Mudashiru , the chairman of Ogun Waterside Local Government has declared that his administration will change governance narrative in the Local Government with the support of the people of the area.
The Local Government boss made the declaration while receiving the leadership of Ogun Waterside Forum(OWF) in his office in Abigi on Tuesday.
He stated that his administration was ready to work with relevant stakeholders to strengthen citizens’ engagement in the formulation and implementation of policies and programmes.
Mudashiru ,who described his administration as a “New Dawn” , noted that citizens’ engagement is a crucial element of good governance and is required to meet the aspirations of the people.“I am passionate to serve our people better.
We will try our best to deliver quality service to our people through robust citizens’ engagement and by being accountable and transparent,” he added.
The Secretary of OWF, Mr. Ajayi Michiah said that the Forum was on a visit to the chairman to felicitate with him and also identify with his administration.In attendance during the visit were Aremo Tola Alimi; Proprietor, Pathfinder Schools ,Ibiade, Hon.Olatundun Talabi; the pioneer Chairman of Ogun Waterside Local Government, Fuyi Williams Banji; protem chairman of OWF, Mrs. Bunmi Adesanya ; Treasurer of OWF, Alhaji Dayo Oyenuga; among other members of the forum.
