Popular Nollywood Actor Baba Ijesha Arrested For Defiling Underage Girl
Lagos State Police Command has arrested popular Nollywood actor, Mr. Olarenwaju James, a.k.a Baba Ijesha, for defiling a minor.
The case of defilement was reported at Sabo Police Station by one Princess Adekola Adekanya on Monday, April 19, 2021 and the case was transferred to the Gender Unit of the State CID, Panti, Yaba Lagos for proper investigation.Based on preliminary findings, baba Ijesha was said to have started sexually assaulting the fourteen (14)-years-old victim since she was age seven (7).
The 48-years-old Actor, According to the Police Command, confessed to the crime and was also captured by a CCTV camera in the house of the complainant.
The Commissioner of Police,Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered for proper investigation and has also promised to do justice in the matter.
