
In a bid to grow small businesses of individual members, one of the leading age-groups in Ijebuland, Egbe Obaneye Okunrin Akile Ijebu will in few days’ time roll out a #20million grant tagged Idokowo Obaneye Okunrin Akile.

According to a statement by the leadership of the age-group headed by Giwa Oluseye Yusuf, the SME Business Seminar will hold on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the ICT Centre, Ijebu Ode Grammar School, starting from 9am.
Mr Bola Bhadmus, the ME/CEO WealthBridge Asset Management Limited will be the Facilitator of the event.
Meanwhile, speaking on the event, the Otun Giwa of the age-group, Mr Titi Gafar narrated that Idokowo Egbe Obaneye is an initiative of Egbe Obaneye Okunrin Akile Ijebu powered by the Baba Egbe, Alhaji Olukayode Bakare.
He added that “it is aimed to tackle key challenges of SMEs in Nigeria by combining training and financial support. The seminar helps equip members of our Regberegbe group and other groups in Akile Ijebu with vital business skills to manage and grow sustainable ventures.
Alongside training, Idokowo provides grants for members of Egbe Obaneye Okunrin Akile Ijebu that help ease the burden of poor access to credit, helping members expand their businesses and create lasting impact. This blend of skills and funding makes it a strong model for SME growth and resilience”, Gafar submitted.
Mr Aderemi Oluyemisi Adebowale, the Eta Giwa Egbe who doubles as the Chairman of the Planning Committee, disclosed further that Idokowo Obaneye is a programme set up two years ago to better the lot of individual members by the Baba Egbe, Alhaji kayode Moriwiyu Bakare who he described as a philanthropist per excellence.
Aderemi said 20 members of the Regbregbe will be given business grant of 1 million naira each after their proposal defense.
