REJOINDER: HON. ADEMORIN ALIU KUYE DISASSOCIATES HIMSELF FROM THE CLAIM OF PARADING HIMSELF AS AWUJALE-ELECT BY THE STATE GOVERNMENT
The attention of Hon. Ademorin Aliu Kuye has been drawn to a misleading and unfounded claim circulating in certain quarters alleging that he is parading himself as the Awujale-elect under the sponsorship or endorsement of the State Government.
Hon. Kuye categorically and unequivocally dissociates himself from such claims.
At no time has he presented himself, directly or indirectly, as the Awujale-elect, nor has he authorised any individual, group, or platform to do so on his behalf. Any insinuation suggesting that he is acting in such a capacity is entirely false, malicious, and intended to misinform the public.
Hon. Kuye remains a law-abiding citizen who holds the revered traditional institution in the highest regard. He respects due process, constituted authorities, and the long-standing customs and traditions governing chieftaincy matters. He would never engage in any action capable of undermining the integrity of the traditional stool or bringing disrepute to the State Government.
However, Hon. Ademorin Aliu Kuye has once again, formally dissociated himself from certain Waka lyrics currently circulating and allegedly composed by an unidentified musician for personal gain or whatsoever.
Hon. Kuye states unequivocally that he did not commission, authorise, endorse, or have any prior knowledge of the said musical content. Any attempt to link his name, image, or reputation to the composition is entirely unauthorised and misleading.
He wishes to make it clear to the general public, supporters, and stakeholders that he bears no responsibility for the creation, distribution, or promotion of the lyrics in question.
The public is therefore advised to disregard any claims or insinuations suggesting his involvement.
Hon. Kuye remains committed to upholding integrity, transparency, and responsible public engagement.
Appropriate steps are being considered to address any misuse of his name or reputation.
The public is hereby advised to disregard the baseless allegations and refrain from spreading unverified information capable of causing unnecessary tension or misunderstanding.
Hon. Kuye remains committed to peace, unity, and the continued progress of Ijebu Ode, Ijebu Land, Ogun State and Nigeria.
