
An aspirant for Ogun State House of Assembly in Yewa North I (Isokan) State Constituency, Hon. Amb. Oladayo Aina, has commenced the 2026 edition of his annual Free JAMB Form and Registration exercise for indigent students across the constituency.
Oladayo Aina, the convener of the New Recovery Political Movement, on Wednesday, flagged off the exercise with Day One activities featuring the registration of beneficiaries drawn from seven wards in the local government.
Our correspondent gathered that the initiative, now an annual intervention, is aimed at easing the financial burden on families and expanding access to tertiary education for brilliant but indigent students.
While speaking on the rationale behind the kind gesture, Oladayo Aina reaffirmed his long-standing commitment to youth development and education, describing education as the most sustainable investment for societal growth.
His words, “Investing in the education of our youth is the greatest legacy we can leave for Ogun State.”
Our correspondent who monitored the exercise reports that the first day of the programme recorded a smooth registration process, with officials and volunteers ensuring that qualified students were duly enrolled for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The aspirant fully sponsored the cost of the JAMB forms and registration for beneficiaries. ”
In their separate remarks, beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the aspirant for consistently prioritising education and human capital development at the grassroots.
Hon. Aina, a businessman, philanthropist, and grassroots leader, has over the years built a reputation for people-focused interventions across Yewa North, particularly in education, skills acquisition, and social welfare.
