The APC Professionals Network has applauded the appointment of Dapo Abiodun as Chairman of the Venue Committee for the forthcoming All Progressives Congress National Convention.
In a statement signed by its Secretary, Khalid Abdullahi, the group described the appointment as a clear demonstration of the confidence reposed in Governor Abiodun by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the group, the terms of reference of the committee are critical to the overall success of the convention. These include preparing the convention venue(s), overseeing layout and branding, coordinating staging and seating arrangements, ensuring provision of utilities, guaranteeing accessibility, and confirming readiness for all convention activities.
The APC Professionals Network noted that the sensitive and strategic nature of these responsibilities demands “a person of considerable experience, sophistication, and proven organisational capacity.”
“The appointment of Governor Dapo Abiodun to chair such an all-important committee is in deep appreciation of his pedigree and background as a business guru and administrator who understands how to organise high-level meetings for productive outcomes,” the statement read.
The group further praised the Ogun State Governor’s track record, stating that he has consistently demonstrated exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in governance.
“As Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has shown this trait of superb organisation and orderliness time and again. You cannot work with him if you are not organised,” the statement added.
Expressing confidence in his leadership of the committee, the group said it has no doubt that Governor Abiodun will deliver an outstanding performance as Chairman of the Venue Committee for the APC National Convention.
