With few days left for the Governorship and House of Assembly polls in the country, a socio-cultural organisation, Y’uapi has enjoined electorates in the state to entrust Governor Abiodun with their votes.
In a press statement jointly signed and made available to journalists on Monday by the group President and secretary, Com Femi Odutola and Muyiwa Adesanwo respectively, the group said it based its decision on the fact that the ongoing Governor’s first term in office witnessed remarkable transformation in some sectors of the state.
“So, if we can come together once again to return the Governor for another term, the gale of developmental progress will have a positive impact on other areas which further needs attention in the state”, the group added.
Gov Abiodun who would have spent 4 years in office by May 2023, is seeking a reelection for the number one seat in the state on the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC.
According to the group, though governance is a continuous process, but it will be fair if Gov Abiodun is allowed to spend two terms in office like some of his predecessors.
