
A proud son of the soil, Hon. Amb Oladayo Aina, popularly known as Ola Aina has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and the empowerment of his people, promising to keep driving initiatives that transform lives and strengthen local communities.

Hon. Aina, who is a grassroots politician, made this known during this year’s Ayetoro Day celebration in Ayetoro, Yewa North of Ogun State.
The event brought together indigenes at home and abroad marked by cultural displays, traditional dances, and the celebration of unity and heritage.
In his characteristic spirit of generosity, Hon. Aina distributed palliatives to residents of Ayetoro and neighbouring communities, adding yet another chapter to his long list of humanitarian gestures aimed at improving lives and promoting social welfare.
Our correspondent gathered that over the years, Hon. Aina has become a key driver of grassroots development in Yewaland, having undertaken several community-based projects.
These include the installation of solar streetlights, payment of WAEC fees for indigent students, drilling of boreholes, and the rehabilitation of the Ayetoro Vocational Training Centre all of which have positively impacted the socio-economic well-being of residents.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Aina expressed joy and fulfilment at being part of yet another successful edition of the historic celebration, which he described as a platform that unites sons and daughters of Ayetoro in love, peace, and shared heritage.
He said “Ayetoro Yewa Day is not just a festival, it is a celebration of our history, our strength, and our togetherness:
“I am proud to be part of a community that values unity and progress. Empowering our people and investing in education, youth development, and infrastructure remain my top priorities.”
He also commended the traditional council, community leaders, and the Ayetoro Yewa Day Planning Committee for their tireless efforts in sustaining the annual event, which he said continues to serve as a beacon of culture and identity for the Yewa people.
