A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ijebu East local government area of Ogun State, Hon Oluseun Olushina Owuye has rejoiced with Gov Dapo Abiodun on the celebration of his mother’s 90th birthday.
Hon. Owuye, had in a gracious display of respect and admiration extended warm felicitations to Chief (Mrs) Victoria Olaitan Abiodun, the esteemed mother of the Ogun State Governor.
According to him, “This rare and significant milestone was marked as a moment to honour a life defined by grace, service, and unwavering resilience”
While also wishing her good health, strength and peace, he also prayed that the years ahead bring her even more joy and fulfillment.
Hon Owuye, also expressed expressed deep gratitude for the values she has instilled that has continued to echo through generations and the wider community.
Meanwhile, while taking the occasion as a means of teachable moment, Hon Owuye urged all to honour and cherish their aging parents, emphasizing that no professional or public achievement surpasses the foundational role of a loving mother.
He said, “Turning 90 is both a rare and sacred gift, a moment for reflection, thanksgiving, and renewed purpose, he remarked. May Mama continue to enjoy good health, peace, and joy in the years ahead. And may her legacy continue to inspire and uplift Ogun State and beyond”
In his own tribute, Hon. Amusan described Chief Mrs. Abiodun as a shining example of maternal strength, wisdom, and virtue. He praised her not only as a devoted mother but also as a woman whose dignity and moral fortitude have left a lasting impact far beyond her immediate family. Her long and purposeful life, he noted, stands as a testament to love, sacrifice, and enduring faith.
