One of the classy female age-groups, otherwise known as Regberegbe in Ijebuland, Egbe Obaneye Obinrin Akile-Ijebu has sent a warm greetings to the Akeweje of the group, Alhaji Kamorudeen Adeniyi Soewu on his new chieftaincy title.
Alhaji Soewu, a committed Muslim faithful has been named as the Balogun Adinni of Anuoluwapo Muslim Community Mosque, Irewon near Ijebu Ode.
The turbanning ceremony will come up on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Ijebu-Ode Central Mosque.
According to a statement by the Iyalode of the Regberegbe, Iyalode Iyalode Oyindamola Moshood, “On behalf of the leadership and all members of Egbe Obaneye Obinrin Akile-Ijebu, we rejoice with our Akeweje on his planned turbanning as the Baba Adinni of Anuoluwapo Muslim Community Mosque, Irewon. We beseech Almighty Allah to always guide Alh Soewu right in his dealings and also enrich his coast, Amen.”
