The Balogun Egbe Obaneye Obinrin Akile Ijebu, Chief (Mrs) Ayoola Fehintola-Brat has felicitated with Muslims in Ijebuland on the celebration of Eid-El Fitr after the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In her Eid-El Fitr message, Fehintola-Brat urged Muslim faithful not to relent but intensify prayers for the nation to overcome its current challenges.
The United States based naval officer urged all sons and daughters of Ijebuland, and the country at large to sustain the lessons of sacrifice and love learnt during the Ramadan fast.
“As we all go out today to rejoice on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Fitri festival, I implore you to show compassion to one another, as taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W), especially at these trying times. I am hopeful, with our prayers, steadfastness and commitment, Nigeria as a country will once again be a better place for the entire citizenry.”
