Glitz And Glamour As New Female Age-Group 89,90,91 Stages Ojude Oba 2025 Reception

The new entrant into the comity of Age-groups, otherwise known as Regberegbe in Ijebuland, Egbe Obase Obinrin Akile has held a classy Ojude Oba special reception and fund raising with a promise to also contribute their quota to the development of their respective communities in the nearest future.

The event which was held at the upscale Legan Hall on Erunwon road attracted several dignitaries who came from far and wide to celebrate with the age-group.

The Baba Egbe and Iya Egbe both commended the efforts of the leadership for their resilience and doggedness in bringing to the forefront while admonishing them to be more determined and united for the betterment of the new group.

Highlight of the event was the conferment of honours on outstanding Patrons of the group who have been supportive to the Regbregbe’s upliftment.

Meanwhile, the head of the female age-group, Iyalode Taiwo Busola Agbonyin Oredipe expressed appreciation to every hand who contributed to the success of the event.

Essence of the Last Event
The essence of our last event, the Ojude Oba reception and fundraising event, was to celebrate our cultural heritage and promote unity among Regberegbe Obinrin Akile Ijebu 1989-1990-1991 members. The event provided a platform to unite, strengthen our bonds, and raise funds towards our palace Royal recognition in 2026. We also used it as an avenue to honour our patrons and show our appreciation for accepting the individual responsibilities they hold for us.

Success Story of the Event
The success story of our event is a testament to the power of teamwork, dedication, and community spirit. Despite some unforeseen challenges, we delivered our guests a memorable and enjoyable experience. The event was well-attended, and we received positive feedback from our members and guests. We also got some funds towards our fundraising targets, which is a good head start for the palace’s financial commitment for 2026.
