Itesiwaju Ijebu Helping Hands Foundation To Empower Widows, Indigent Students, Others In Ijebu North East LG

Amidst the biting economic hardship which has casted shadows of pain over many families, a humanitarian organization, Itesiwaju Ijebu Helping Hands Foundation will in few days’ time empower several widows and indigent students in Ijebu North East local government area of the state.

According to a statement by the founder of the multiple award-winning NGO, Mr Oladehinde Yusuf Boyle, the gesture was designed to give back to the society and more importantly promote academic excellence among the younger generation.

The foundation disclosed further that the October 29 event will be historic as they have earmarked means to reach out not only the widows but the needy and downtrodden in the remote areas.

Mr Oladeinde Yusuf Boyle added that several bags of rice, other foodstuffs and financial support to cushion the excruciating effects of the hard times many homes are going through will be distributed at the event.

It could be recalled that following a scholarship examination organized by the foundation for Primary 6 pupils across the Council area recently, the top three students will smile home with substantial cash rewards and other educational materials, while several pupils will also be compensated accordingly.

He maintained that the Foundation, a non-profit humanitarian organization is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through education, skills development, and economic empowerment.
