Honourable Commissioner for Sports Development in Ogun State, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, has felicitated with Christians in Ogun and Nigeria at large on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a statement issued through his media office, he urged Christians not to forget the teachings of Jesus Christ, emphasizing the importance of loving their neighbours as themselves.
In his words, ‘I charge my Christian brothers and sisters in Nigeria to continue embrace peace, love, and tolerance as they celebrate this Christmas. I encourage them to keep emulating Jesus Christ in both words and deeds by embodying the core lessons of love, tolerance, sacrifice, generosity, and peaceful coexistence, being values that Christ stood for.
