Obaneye Okunrin Age-Group Plans Multi-Empowerment Scheme For Members

A socio-cultural age group in Ijebuland, the Egbe Obaneye Okunrin Akile Ijebu will in few weeks’ time gather the business class together in furtherance of a multi empowerment scheme initiated by the leadership of the group.

 

Egbe Obaneye Okurin Akile jebu, described as one of the most organized, youthful and cerebral groups in the area comprises of male sons of Ijebu extraction born between 1983 and 1985. The group is headed by Giwa Arole Oluwaseye Yusuf while Alhaji Kayode Bakare serves as the Baba Egbe of the Regberegbe.

 

The SME business seminar tagged Idokowo Obaneye Okunrin Akile is scheduled for May 13, 2023 at the upscale Chinese Hall, Conference Hotel, GRA Ijebu-Ode.

 

According to a statement made available to Ijebu News Xtra magazine by the Chairman of the Empowerment Planning Committee, Adebowale Ogunwo, “The Idokowo Obaneye Okunrin Akile Ijebu (Grant) is an empowerment programme powered by the Baba Egbe, Alhaji Kayode Bakare to the members of Obaneye Okunrin Akile Ijebu to support their businesses.

 

The process of obtaining this grant typically involves submitting an application form and grant proposal, which outlines the purpose of the grant and how the funds will be used. Members to apply for the grant will typically be entrepreneurs with an existing registered business and run for a minimum of 3 years.

Once the grant applications and proposals have be reviewed and approved by the screening committee, the grant will be awarded to the successful members.

An entrepreneurship development seminar is been organized on the 13th May 2023 at conference hotel Ijebu Ode by the Egbe Obaneye Okunrin Akile Ijebu to further develop entrepreneurial abilities and polishing of their entrepreneurial skills into a person needed to successfully run his enterprise.

 This seminar concept also involves equipping the applicants with the required skills and knowledge needed for running the enterprise”, Ogunwo added.

 

The facilitator of the event is Dotun Ifebogun, Divisional Head, Retail Banking, WEMA Bank PLC.
