Engineer Ojesina: Let Your Conscience Judge You If You Have One
By: Amb Tunde Oladunjoye
The so-called “open letter” written by a Pastor-turned-politician, one Engr. Anthony Ojesina refers .
I reckon with gutter words and lies used in defending himself, but I will not go into gutter with the diminutive politician who claimed not to have attacked me in his initial media release but expected no response from me when he attacked the party I speak for, the All Progressives Congress.
It is true that press conference was addressed to announce Ojesina’s support for the defeated governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ladi Adebutu, who is currently a fugitive of the law. However, Egbon Ojesina was mad because he never knew I had the information of the money he collected from Adebutu, not only that, I have the full details. I challenge Engineer Ojesina to sue me to court and expose himslef further. All the LG party Chairmen of SDP will be my witnesses.
Egbon should forget about my financial position and the “crumbs” I am “getting from OGTV” as he assumed. I make bold to say that in my over two and half years as OGTV Chairman, I never collected a dime from OGTV. It is easily verifiable, I did not even accept or take my statutory sitting allowances from OGTV. Even when the Chairman’ s Allowance was raised from N40,000 (fifty thousand naira) to N100,000 (one hundred thousand naira) I still turned it down. And all ceremonies of my friends covered by OGTV, I paid for them and have the receipts. Apart from my financial donation to OGTV, I even sought and got donations for OGTV which were receipted. It’s not every politician that is in office to “chop”, unlike marketeers and dealers like my Egbon Ojesina and his ilks”
Pending the court action, I challenge him to call a press conference or even the next person close to him or use his WhatsApp video to record himslef placing his hands on the Holy Bible and swear that he never collected money from Ladi Adebutu and Baba Ijebu, Ladi’s billionaire father.
I will not react or join the man inside the gutter that he is presently. Also, I cannot take him serious a day after I advised that he should not be taken serious. I will only repeat my response:
”The spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Tunde Oladunjoye, said on Sunday that Ojeshina cannot be taken seriously.
He said, “Ojeshina is supposedly a man of God. However, he sold his soul by collecting N150m from Ladi Adebutu to endorse Adebutu and sacrificed the aspirations of SDP members. The SDP Chairman was hospitalised in Lagos for weeks over the treachery of Ojeshina, who only parted with N10m to party members out of the huge sum of money he collected. Either he is still working for the money or he needs another tranche. Please do not take him seriously. He is obviously working for Adebutu’s PDP.”
