2023: Ijebu East APC House Of Assembly Aspirants Back Tinubu, Abiodun, Oluomo, Others

Ogun Assembly aspirants for 2022 Ijebu East State Constituency primary election  of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have pledged their support to all candidates of the party – presidential, governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly, ahead of 2023 general elections.
The Ijebu East OGHA Aspirants 2022 – Barr. Segun Adesanya (Rere), Mr. Peter Adekogbe, Mr. Debo Adesoga ( Sugar), Surveyor TayeTaiwo and Pastor Sunday Adebamiro, individually pledged to work for the victory of the party and its candidates next year.
This followed the resolutions reached at their meeting on Sunday at the Itele – Ijebu residence of the Publicity Secretary of APC, Tunde Oladunjoye, who convened the said meeting.
While Com. Oladunjoye, the APC candidate for Ijebu East State Constituency;  Michael Odufejo (Oluomo) and Mr  Peter Adekogbe attended the meeting physically, others joined via WhatsApp Video; Mr Debo Adekogbe  (from UK), Barr. Segun Adesanya (from Lagos), Mr Tai Taiwo (from Lagos) and Pastor Sunday Adebamiro (from Canada)

Earlier in his address, the convener, Com. Oladunjoye emphasized on the need to work together in the interest of the party, assuring that the future holds a lot for everyone while also stressng that not getting the ticket at the last primary of the party should not make any of the aspirants to stay away from the local government and party activities.
He expressed the belief that the continuous participation in politics by the five aspirants will make politics in Ijebu East Local Government more robust and qualitative.
The APC Publicity Secretary equally promised to convey the outcome of the meeting to the party hierarchies at the local government and state levels.
Also speaking, candidate Oluomo pleaded for understanding and support of the aspirants, promising to carry them along as electioneering approaches.  
He described the meeting as “the  commencement of a new beginning,” even as he pleaded with the aspirants to also reach out to their supporters to work for him and the party.
