2023: Ogun Butchers Association Drums Support For Abiodun

A group of butchers in Ogun State has endorsed the second term bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun over his supportive project towards them.
The group under the auspices of Dapo Abiodun Vanguard Butchers Association, who made this known in Abeokuta on Sunday, noted that the association has benefitted more than enough for not to support the governor.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the chairman, Alhaji Sulaiman Omolaja expressed his gratitude to the governor, stated that he looks forward to his 2nd term bid to continue the good job he has been doing in the state.
Omolaja added that with the peaceful mediation of the governor in the affairs of the association, the project by the governor among others are the reasons they want Dapo for 2nd term.
He said, “What we are doing today is to show our support for the governor for his second term bid.
“The reason we are supporting Dapo Abiodun is because he has been a man of integrity and helpful to our association.
“If the governor has not been diligent about some of the matter in the state, it might have been something else.
“There are issues amidst the butchers that the governor had interfered in thereby resolving them amicably. He used to show us support and fulfills it.
“If we are talking about the butchers in the state, Lafenwa is the headquarters and in politics, we Dapo Abiodun Vanguard Butchers Association are the supporters of our governor.”
The butchers chairman also commended the Deputy Governor, Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele for her support.
He noted that her motherly support to the development of the association cannot be overlooked.
The chairman of the butchers, however, appealed to the Abiodun-led government to continue to support the association in the state.
“I want to advise the governor that he should continue the good job he has been doing in the state.
“We are also imploring him to also consider giving more support to the butchers in the state.”
