Ogun Assembly 2023: Sulaimon Oduwole (Allison) Steps Up Grassroots Parley, Promises Quality Representation

A leading House of Assembly aspirant for Ijebu Ode state constituency, Hon Sulaimon Oduwole (Allison) prominently known as SLY yesterday stepped up his consultation with party stakeholders in all the 11 wards in the local government area ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Sly who will be flying his ticket on the platform of the ruling party in the state, the All Progressives Congress, APC in a separate meeting with party stakeholders appealed for their support and cooperation in realising his ambition.

According to him, the consultation and parley with grassroots leaders of the party becomes necessary in order to rekindle the longstanding relationship that had existed within the LG.

Sly,, while addressing the party leaders, noted that a genuine party faithful who had previously identified with the mass of the people, and who knows where the shoe pinches them should be entrusted with the party ticket in the coming election.

While assuring them of a robust and quality representation if elected, the youthful politician said, the remarkable achievement of the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in virtually all sector of the economy, will give the party the necessary boost and edge in future elections.

Meanwhile, the Assembly hopeful last Friday met with LG women Leader as well as all the women leader in all the 11 Wards in the area.

He was accompanied by his ward party chairman, deputy women leader LG party exco, Chief Ex-Offio 1 LG party exco, a former councilor who is now a Supervising councilor, chairperson ward 1, auditor ward 1, immediate past LG house leader and Legal adviser LG party exco.

Sly added that he had equally met with all the Assistant Women leaders in all the wards as well as the Assistant Women Leader of the LG.

Earlier in the day, he inaugurated his Campaign Coordinators. “11 of them representing us in each ward, 9 of them are ward Vice chairmen, 1 of them is the Ward Auditor and the last one was nominated by a Ward Chairman,” he added.

“I have also met with our local government Councilors and Youth leaders to seek for their support. And I can tell you that we had a positive session.

I was accompanied by the immediate past Leader of Ijebu Ode Legislative council and the first female to ever served in that capacity, Hon Monsurat Shehu-Musa,” he concluded.
