The latest news is that Rote, as he is fondly known around town has regained his groove. The Eta Giwa of the prestigious age-group, Egbe Bobamayegun Asiwaju Okunrin Akile-Ijebu few days back played host to Giwa In Council, Honourary Chiefs, and the entire members of the Regberegbe few days back.
The meeting was a regular avenue to discuss and find solutions to topical and developmental issues in Ijebuland.
Bobamayegun Asiwaju according to findings have been involved in several empowerment schemes in the past and had also recently released some palliatives to indigent people to cushion the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Regberegbe’s gathering which was held at the iconic Okenla Chambers Family house in Ijebu-Ode was followed by a lavish reception which was also attended by friends and well-wishers.
