Massive flooding has destroyed more than 30 houses and rendered at least 100 people homeless in Ijebu Ode area of the state, according to Gateway Times findings.
It was reliably gathered that the heavy downpour in the early hours of yesterday, Sunday, July 28, caused untold hardship on many of the residents who were caught unaware.
The area affected mostly are Molipa expressway, Igbeba, the popular Oke Aje market, and Paramount Cinema roads.
It was furthered reported that most residents have fled their homes while others had their belongings buried in the sand.
The downpour prevented some parents and their children from attending churches and mosques on Sunday as well.
