The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday arrived Ijebu Ode, in Ijebu Ode local government area of the state in company of the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Osinbajo whose chopper landed at the Dipo Dina International Stadium Ijebu Ode few minutes after 12noon later left for the country-home of the Paramount ruler and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona in GRA, Ijebu Ode.
Though, detail of the visit was still sketchy as at press time, but a source who is in the know of the meeting, disclosed to Gateway Times that Osinbajo and Abiodun actually met with the monarch behind closed-doors. “And this may not be unconnected with the state of the nation” the source added.
